Welcome to the Terry of South Boston, proudly serving South Boston, VA, and Halifax County since 2019!  

Mr. Terry started selling cars in the Lynchburg, VA area in 1985 as Star Imports-a Volkswagen and Subaru dealer. He worked for many years, establishing a reputation for selling only the best. After many years of selling new Volkswagen, Subaru, and used cars in the Lynchburg area, Mr. Terry and his general manager, Mark Dalton, decided to expand their knowledge to the Town of South Boston and the surrounding areas. In December 2019, we opened our doors at the old Crowell Motor Company building on Wilborn Avenue. 

Initially, we offered lease turn-ins and program cars for customers looking for a quality used car without a new car price tag. We now carry a wide variety of inventory. From those early days of limited stock to our current supply of over one hundred used cars, commitment to quality has remained the same. Every vehicle on our lot is handpicked and carefully inspected to ensure only the best make it out front. If a car receives a failing grade, we wholesale it, often at a loss, to maintain the quality and reputation Mr. Terry has worked hard to establish.

Our mission is to provide South Boston and the surrounding areas with a great selection of vehicles that may be higher in mileage or have a few cosmetic blemishes at a great value. We have access to over 20 lenders that work with all credit situations and nationally backed extended service contract providers to protect your new vehicle for many years and miles.
